What is the difference between economy and express services?
 

The standard service is Economy Service, depending on destination could take 7 working days
Express service, depending on destination is approroximately 4 days

   
What is the transit time for delivery?
 

Assuming there are no delays and all necessary documentation is received in a timely manner the average delivery times would be:

Will I have to pay duties and/or taxes at my destination?
 

Depending on the commodity there may be duties or taxes applicable although this differs from country to country. In most countries returning residents that have owned or used goods for a period longer than 12 months would not be liable to pay duty or tax

   
Are there any other hidden or extra costs at the destination?
 

Door-to-door service is inclusive of all costs. A few countries charge for physical customs examinations to be carried out, these charges will be additional for your account

Dutiable items will also be charged customs duties and taxes, and will be additional for your account

Airport-to-Airport you will be responsible for local airline handling and customs clearance charges that may be applicable. Once again these charges vary from country to country

Yes Röll Travelsmart Solutions have experienced and qualified agents globally who will gladly assist

   
How do I determine the weight that will be charged for my consignment?
 

Basically on actual weight of the item, although in some cases in volumetric weight

   
What are prohibited commodities?

What assurance do I have that my consignment has been forwarded as arranged and will arrive in tact at my destination?
 

We will issue you with an official IATA Airway Bill/ Bill of Lading as well as provide an e-mail confirmation

   
Are Röll Travelsmart Solutions able to track or trace my consignment at all times?
 

You may contact RTSS or alternatively log-on to our website where you are able to check the status of your consignment

   
Can I modify or cancel my request at any time?
 

Cancellation may be made before your consignment is collected by Roll Travelsmart Solutions. If the consignment has to be returned you will be charged accordingly.

   
What about Ocean-freight service?
 

Unless you are shipping extremely heavy items the weight is not taken into consideration, however it could also be based on cubic measurement of your shipment. Please contact us for further explanation

How do I make payment to Röll Travelsmart Solutions?
 

Payment is strictly in advance and the following methods are accepted with proof of payment:

Credit / Debit Card

Electronic Transfer (please contact us for our bank details)

   
How far in advance do I need to make a reservation?
 
As far in advance as possible. Our recommendation is at least 2 to 3 days
   
What duties or taxes are payable?
 
These are variable according to destination. The onus is on you to respect the laws of the country and abide by their rules 
   
What is volumetric weight?
 
This is an International Standard and is non-negotiable. Aircraft have restrictions in carrying volume and weight and charges are occasionally based on volumetric as opposed to the actual weight. To calculate volumetric weight multiply the length, width and height in centimeters and divide the total by 6000
